• Materials: 3 index cards per player, 1 extra index card, something to write with, and a table or flat surface to play on.
• About: Instead of dice, cards, or tumble towers, build a river of words to solve different challenges. Be mindful what words you choose though since you only get so many per adventure.

Welcome to RiverKeep, a small woodland community built along the banks of an ancient river. Life in RiverKeep is peaceful, but it’s never still. Together, the RiverKin of RiverKeep work to care for their home as they discover what the River knows and what the River keeps. New paths may need finding, friends may need welcoming, and forgotten memories may be waiting to be uncovered.

Instead of dice, playing cards, or tumbling towers, overcome challenges with Word Cards. Can you make the most of each word you add? What stories will your words carry on to your next adventure?

At the moment, we only have the version for the One-Page RPG Jam 2026 published since that deadline is coming up hard and fast. However, you can look forward to a more extended version in the coming months, complete with examples sprinkled throughout, more options for RiverKin and Forest Friends to choose from with brand new Knacks, and more sweet illustrations thanks to Canva. We'll be sure to send out an email once it's published.
