Ring of Elements

• Recommended: 1 player; age 7+
• Materials: The Ring of Elements on the back of the minizine, one 6-sided die and eighteen 6-sided die for the final game, a few tokens or counters, and something to write with and on.
• About: In these three games, restore the elemental balance, travel the ring to bind each element, and restore the shattered ring by creating new harmonies.

The Ring of Elements has shattered, and its harmony has been lost. Will you awaken the temples, find your path, and restore the Ring?

Ring of Elements is a collection of three connected solo dice games about balance, exploration, and restoration. Each game uses the same Ring of Elements in a different way, creating a series of quick, thoughtful puzzles that are easy to learn and rewarding to master. Each include decisions for the player to make, so it's never left fully to a roll of the die.

Temple Paths and Wayfinder both offer up simple ways to make the games more challenging, while Wayfinder and Restore the Ring have a full scoring system to keep challenging yourself each game.

Included is the pdf for the singles, for the minizine spread, and a visual references for how to create the minizine. The steps below follow the images in the pdf: 
1. Fold hotdog, or longways.
2. Unfold, then fold hamburger, or shortways.
3. Fold the same way, hamburger, again.
4. Unfold once, then cut from the folded side only halfway. So stop before you cut between pages 4 and 5.
5. Now pinch the front page and page 5 with each hand and smoosh them toward each other so that the middle paper flattens to form a plus sign.
6. Now you can swing the back page towards page 5 and it will be flat and open.
7. Just pick it up and fold the back page around and it'll be lined up.
