Polite Pages
A downloadable game
A great way to encourage younger readers to use manners is to give them reason to be more aware of when manners aren't used. In Polite Pages, players are asked to notice when a character in the book they're reading could have used "please", "thank you", or "I'm sorry" and didn't, and to explain how it might have made things better for the player. Catch characters not using manners enough times, and players can get a picture proclaiming they know how and when to be polite.
Since the game comes on a bookmark, they can use the bookmark for their books even when they're not playing.
Bookmarks come in full color in a few different ways for sake of ease when printing.
- A single double-sided bookmark so you can print just one for your young reader.
- A bookmark that can be folded and glued/taped so double-sided printing isn't a concern.
- A sheet of 4 of the same bookmarks to share them with friends.
Printer friendly versions are on the way!
