Drake in a Pouch is a critter that can be added to most any game. There are two ways one of these little dragons reveal themselves: When a character has an ability that aligns with theirs, or when a character is in need of help that the dragon can help with. Whether the dragon leaves or stays is up to the dragon's whim, though they could be bribed, of course.
What's even better? You get to design them! You can trust luck with a toss of a die or pick and choose.
